A Taste of Language

Tonight inspiration took me and had me create this taste of language.
Sit down, relax, close your eyes and listen....
(Hmmm... I can't play an audiofile here... you can listen on my wordpress blog)

Mushin,
Thanks for a tour of my own reactivity. It went for me something like this: resenting the immediate intimacy implied by the acoustic distance suggested by the proximity if the mic to your mouth.
Then, still resisting relaxing into that auditory space, I found myself in a freefall between memories of Beat poet's readings and many a “guided” “meditation” (during neither of which I ever totally turned off my inner critic).
Finally, having wrangled through this listening without surrendering to just hearing, I found a wave of self accepting humor washing through my counter-performance.
Anyhow… this was for me a valuable interlude in my day inwhich I got to examine the comfort distances and expectation filters that normally prevail in my interfacing with media and conversation.

That was an interesting trip, I guess ;-)
It inspired me to create another one where the mice is not that close to my mouth (thanx for telling me its effect on you, K.
